Thefilm is mature, especially for an animated "kids" film. Other kids reviews would comment on the amazing cinematography, art direction, animation, characters, emotion, and passion the film has. Adult reviews would comment on the sexualisation of one of the side characters as her breasts are commented on multiple times in the film.
WeatheringWith You (needless to say) does this super well. This feeling, along with the music and simple, creative stories is what carries these movies. Overall this is one of my favorite anime movies and definitely my favorite directed by Shinkai. -Kex • 2 yr. ago.
